Do you take requests?

Yes, as long as it’s OK with you. We welcome requests but also filter what gets played to make sure all selections are appropriate.

Do you charge for travel, setup, and tear down?

No. If you pay for a 5 hour party, you get 5 hours of music. Your DJ arrives 1 to 2 hours prior to start time, depending on the amount of equipment and setup scenario.

How much is the deposit, and when is payment due?

A $300 deposit is required to reserve your DJ. Availability is not guaranteed without a deposit. Once your deposit is received, you are booked! The balance is due on the event date, but can be paid anytime prior.

Can we just pay in full?

Yes.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, checks, credit cards, PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes.

How far will you travel?

JAMRE Entertainment is located in Beavercreek, OH. Travel within a one hour radius is no problem. Longer distances can be negotiated.

Do you bring a helper?

Not normally.

What is your cancellation policy?

For events cancelled more than 90 days from event date, the customer will receive 100% refund of deposit. Cancellations within 90 days are not eligible for refund. However, we honor your deposit as a credit indefinitely, so it can be applied to a future event!

Are you able to stay longer if the party goes later?

Normally yes, however availability is not guaranteed beyond the contracted time. It is best to reserve your DJ for the duration of your event.

Do you have backup DJs in case you become sick or unavailable?

Yes, but any illness and conflicts are incredibly rare.

What is uplighting?

Uplighting is decorative lighting that shines a beam of light upward from the floor. These lights can be programmed to virtually any color and are great to frame the room, showcase a head table, and pop your color theme. For some photo examples of uplighting CLICK HERE!

Do you have microphones available?

Yes. Your DJ will always have 2 wireless microphones available for the host/guests to use as needed. These are used for karaoke, host announcements, wedding toasts, or whatever else you need. For wedding ceremonies, we provide a wireless lapel microphone for the officiant, and if needed, extra handheld microphones for speakers and/or singers.

Do you release tables for the buffet?

If needed, yes no problem!

Do you make announcements?

Yes, whatever announcements are needed. For weddings, your DJ makes all the necessary announcements to elegantly conduct the flow of the event.

How do we choose our music?

For weddings, we send you a PDF planning form where you input your music selections. For events and parties, we gather that information from you and love it when you make the DJ a list of your favorite songs and artists.

Our music availability is virtually infinite. We have an extensive digital library of music, mobile Internet, and subscribe to 2 different music streaming services. So, in choosing music for weddings, parties, or any event, we welcome as much input as you can give. Go ahead and make a song list, or send a copy of your streaming playlist. That really helps!
